All About Ms. Blatz
Kids' don't remember what you try to teach them. They remember what you are. -Jim Hensen
My name is Natalie Blatz. I am a recent graduate from the University of Dubuque. I graduated with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education with the endorsements of Reading and Special Education (Instructional Strategist 1). I was born and raised in this beautiful city of Dubuque, IA. My freshman year of college I participated in competitive softball, but for the rest of my college I became a part of the amazing origination Americorp. After college, I got my coaching license and I now currently coach freshman softball for Dubuque Senior High School.
I am the oldest of 3 other siblings. I have two dogs named Sadie and Myah. I also have a cat named Bella to complete my family. I have been around children and teaching my whole life. My mother is also a current Kindergarten teacher at Irving Elementary. When people describe me they either say outgoing or a people person. For free time I love to go camping, play sports, or read. Teaching is not just a job to me, it is a passion. I want to be a bridge for your children to encourage them to cross into their own path, grow, and find themselves a long the way.
